Biography
Anindya Nandi joined the Indian Navy at the age of eighteen and served for fifteen years, from 1996 to 2011. Those years shaped his interest in discipline, preparedness, fieldcraft, technical systems, institutional behaviour and decision-making under pressure. That experience continues to influence both his fiction and his practical writing.
As an author, he works across multiple forms rather than remaining within a single genre. His writing includes political and social analysis, history, geopolitics, institutional ideas, speculative and mythological fiction, practical self-reliance and long-form commentary on contemporary India.
His fiction often combines history, mythology, political power and modern institutions, while his non-fiction work is concerned with how systems actually operate beneath their public narratives. His author site therefore functions both as a publication and as a searchable archive of his evolving work.
The Ashwatthama Paradox, his mythological military thriller, was published by Suruchi Prakashan and has also been nominated for the PVLF 2027 Best Fiction category.
Technology & Software
Anindya is also the founder of Marksoft, where he works on practical software products and local-first digital systems. Projects associated with this work include Mulyankan, an examination and evaluation platform; MARKSoft AI, a local-first AI agent; FuMChat; MyOfficePal; and other software experiments focused on useful, deployable tools rather than technology for its own sake.
The same interest in systems, incentives and real-world implementation connects his software work with his writing on politics, economics and institutions.

Equidynamism
Equidynamism: A Theory of Dynamic Equilibrium in Politics, Economy and Society is a foundational theoretical work developing a framework for understanding how competing political, economic and social forces can remain in dynamic equilibrium without requiring permanent ideological uniformity.
The framework is being developed primarily through the Indian context, with the intention that its principles can function as a coherent theory and, when adopted by an organisation or political institution, as a set of practical directives.
What this site publishes
The publication is organised around news context, opinion, analysis and long reads. Articles may examine Indian politics, public institutions, history, geopolitics, economics, technology, media narratives and other subjects where evidence, context and argument benefit from more space than a short social-media post allows.
